Delicious, superb food and probably the nicest bar in lisburn to go for a drink. Also handy location (just opposite the train station incase you suddenly remember you’re in lisburn and wish to flee.) the staff are all very lovely and chatty, yet professional and always willing to help with anything. I went here once a year ago for a drink with a friend and they came around with free nibbles! Which were fantastic and much appreciated.
The Cardan is divided into two halves… The left is the restaurant area, the right is the bar sort of area, however you’re free to drink and sit wherever pleases you. There’s also a few books and games in the restaurant area which is good for children or if you’re just a bored punter.
The only thing i’d fault them on would be the door staff, who can be moronic, loutish, and lacking a few brain cells? Saying that, its still a bright beacon in the starless sky that is lisburn. Definitely recommended.

We were really pleasantly surprised with both the quality of the food and the warmth of the welcome. The place wasn’t very busy but the food was freshly cooked and the service was the best I’ve experienced in some year.
Will definitely be back.
