I’m not much of a golfer, so when a few friends decided to head to CItigolf for lunch I was glad there were other things available too. Had some beers and a nice pizza and played a few rounds of guitar hero while my friends competed on the virtual golf course.

While I only got a few shots in for curiosity sake, the golfing element seemed great, responsive and the projectors were very sharp. The fact that they did the xbox, wii and guitar hero helped too, as it gave the non golfers among us something to do.

Service was excellent too and the food was great, couldn’t fault it.

Watch this place, paid deposit by card and had to cancel due to unforseen circumstances.  Money was then still taken from my account without my permission, only saving grace was i paid with visa who refunded my money otherwise i would be £240 out of pocket. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Citigolf prides itself on its customer relationship and service. On this ocassion we were left with little we could do but operate within our cancellation policy. Just to confirm, you booked the entire Citigolf venue for an evening and cancelled within 24 hrs of the event, leaving us with no opportunity to take a booking within that short frame of time. Citigolf operate a cancellation policy whereby we need 48 hrs notice. Once a venue is entirely booked and a deposit paid we cannot take anymore bookings for that night. On this occasion you spoke with a member of staff late on the night previous to the booking who said someone would call you the next day. I personally phoned you at 10am the next morning and left a message with a lady who answered the phoned asking you to contact us ASAP.

I subsequently called you 9 times over the following 14 days leaving 4 messages on your answering machine asking you to contact us at Citigolf and in our final message we told you if we had not heard from you we were putting a charge against your card. This is only the 3rd time in the 5 year history of opening Citigolf that we have used this cancellation policy as the majority of time we speak with the person and we get to understand the problem or indeed they make a subsequent booking. When you phoned, (2 days after the money coming off your card) I did speak at length about how I had left message after message with you and stated that Citigolf would more then accommodate you in future at no charge or indeed if you were unable to do that I would pass it on to some friends of yours at no cost.

Great for a night out with colleagues, a social event with customers, or possibly the starting point for a stag do too!

Pros: Indoor golf, Xbox Kinect via projector, good bar, friendly staff

Visited CitiGolf for the first time this week for the Winter Olympics event.

It was great fun and the staff really looked after us.

I shall definately be back and bring the husband along, also thinking of renting the venue for a birthday party.

I’ve not played golf here, but I use it regularly as a pit stop to grab a cup of coffee or tea, and a cake. And it is a surprisingly good coffee bar! You’d think their main focus would be on the sport angle, but they make professional coffees too. The place also boasts one of the most comfortable and spacious interiors (perfect to relax in) of any venue in Belfast, as well as friendly down-to-earth staff.

Great place, excellent for entertainment, a round of golf with workmates, with inclusive food and drink.

Also great for coffee, unlike your starbucks etc, the coffee is prepared properly by trained Baristas who know how to make a properly pulled espresso and a well steamed cappuccino.

Without a doubt Belfast’s best kept coffee secret!

Either for a quick shot of espresso during lunch, or a round of golf to blow the stress away, well worth a visit and very affordable.

Went on Saturday night with the boys; great craic, could hardly hold the club after too many budweisers - least thats my excuse. Free Pizza’s too - all in all a whopper night.

Two fab nights at Citigolf! Great place for social events: excellent location and lovely people to help those that are less *skilled* at the golfing bit…

All they need now is beer on tap, and you have a 5* venue!

The Giant Tweet-up in @citigolfbelfast on Wednesday was a huge success.

Andrew and Barry were great at making everyone feel relaxed and ensured we all had a blast.

Coffee was excellent (i like my coffee) and the golf/nintendo screen became very competitive.

And the winner of the golf was ME (after the reset button was pressed a few times)

The first showing of Adobe CS5 in Belfast at Citigolf went really well with lots of people using the software on our training machines while waiting for their turn at the golf or Nintendo screens. Just remember : Wacom Intous 4 now you have seen why !

We plan on holding more of these sessions every month for some fun and games on the big screens and will keep everyone up to date on the progress. I think the next time might be in the evening so we can avail of the bar supplies.

Great fun had by all and highly addictive.

Like a lot of people this was my first experience of CitiGolf at the Giant Tweetup today. Only one word to describe it - fantastic.

Great central location in Belfast, cheap parking across the road and excellent coffee as well (and I’m a bit of a coffee snob).

The lunch deal is pretty reasonable for less than £5 too, it looks and feels like a bar (and funnily enough there is a bar there too).

Think I might need to get a bit of practice on both the Wii and the golf swing before I head down again, which will be soon!

First time at CitiGolf.  Attended the Giant Training Tweetup.  Excellent spot for a gathering, fun lunch, meetup.

Three big screens hooked up to either Golf or the Nintendo Wii.  Staff were friendly as well.

Will no doubt be back there at some point in near future.  My only grip that i noticed that they don’t have dedicated parking, nearest carpark would be either Waterfront Multistory or Q Park at Victoria Square.  But on the whole a brilliant experience.

Highly recommended!

Had my first Citigolf experience at the Tweetup, hosted by Giant. Great craic at lunch time.

Had a few swings on the golf. You actually get to whack the golf ball with proper clubs at a big screen, the computer then recognises where you hit it and shows you on the map. Pretty realistic. Great fun playing with friends.

They also hooked up a Wii to the big screen so we could play 4-player tennis and bowling.

Recommended for a laugh at lunch (12-2), a bit of craic in the evening or a day out on the weekend.

I absolutely love this place. I can’t wait to get a group together soon to go and spend the afternoon or evening there. I’m now thinking it would be great place for business networking event.  Play a little golf and some big screen wee, have a few beers and chat casually about what business we’re all up to.  Great way to let off steam, break the ice and network at same time.

I had my stag do here and it was just the best night. The majority of lads had barely even held a club in their hands but were mega competitive.  Just loved it.

I’ll be back!

Good fun, good value, good staff. The Wii is great fun on the large screens. I am a golf fanatic and this makes a good day out when it is raining and you dont fancy getting soaked on the course. I think you can even get lessons.

Have been several times both with work colleagues and friends. Great service and excellent selection of food and drink (licensed as well) to make for a great afternoon or evening on teh simulators. Staff are super friendly and really attentive. Excellent if you fancy a good night out and something a bit different.

Have played both Golf and Wii sports on massive fantastic screens. Kids (old and young) would love this. We definitely will be back again and will plan for the kids parties on these screens. If you are looking for the best few hours of fun in belfast - check them out. First class !

Was here earlier today and our work played the Nintendo Wii on their massive simulators. Started with 15 of us playing Super mario Kart and then a Wii tennis tournament. Had a bite to eat and some Beers. Was down here before and played the Golf as well and as someone who hates golf I loved this. Its Basically an alternative activity for those who like the cinema or Bowling or the Dogs - But the decor and music is class and feels like a Bar. Must mention the Staff as well. Not only did they do a good job, but were excellent in the way they got on with people and made the whole 2 hours just fun. - You’d think I own this place but I don’t. But give it a try. We had our sales team in (about 15 of us) but they said they do alot of stags, birthday parties and team building.
