One of my favourite spots to go for an early bite to eat in town. The pre-theatre menu is very reasonable, and really tasty. I think the full menu prices are a bit steep, but it is high quality food. The service is always spot on, and they are knowledgeable about the food and drink that they serve (which makes a change!!). It has a bit of a reputation for being a seafood restaurant, but their meat dishes are also excellent.

Beautiful food and excellent service. Really cool little spot, and the pre theatre menu is a reasonable price. Really good to see they offer local beer aswell.

Nice restaurant. Pre theatre menu is very reasonable. Probably has the best squid starter I have ever had. Portion sizes are filling. Staff are friendly and attentive. This place has a great chance of becoming one of the best spots in town.

Went here got our Christmas do and I was very impressed. The asparagas was a little bland for my starter but I really should have went for the duck. Cheese board for desert was excellent. Nice decor too..

Ginger is an excellent and quiet little restaurant and the pre-theater menu is very cheap. The starters were excellent; a cajun chicken salad with a garlic dressing. This was followed by a delicious rib-eye steak, french fried onions and a side of chunky chips. The service was very fast and there was some banter with the waitress. With these prices, it shouldn’t be missed with a single meal costing about 15 pounds.
