Great for a drink and bit of craic with friends nice atmosphere good for a mid week pint or two :)

Laverys is a great pub to go to for a nite out the place usually is always buzzing,which you dont usually find in quite alot of bars.the club upstairs also is very good were there is always usually a good crowd which goes to it.
It is also good that if you just want to go and chill out during the week and have a few drinks you can,were you can relax and use one of the many pool tables two to have a bit of craic and relax.

I’m not a big drinker, so I’m reviewing this as a pool playing venue. Can be a bit busy at times, but the pool tables are in top nick, and they’re the best cues I’ve ever played with.
(if management are reading this, care to tell me where I could get your cues as a two piece…?
Prices are reasonable, and it feels a lot more sociable than your average pool hall. I’ve always found the bouncers to be more pleasant than elsewhere too

Best place in belfast for years but now think their in london with prices like £3.40 a pint and the food’s a bit steep too, someone would need to tell them there just a bar not a restaurant!

Good because it has all kinds of music depending on what night ya choose to go, pool room can be a pain waiting on a table but it’s worth it by tine ya get table you’ve a few drinks in! Highly recommend if never been

I love laverys. The food is so tasty especially scooby snack burgers. Good at night too.

I often find my way here on a Sunday for a few games of pool and a few pints. It’s always good fun and they also have a brilliant selection of pub grub. Steak and a pint for a tenner is hard to beat.

Great for a night out.and nice through the day for a nice quite pint, if you get boared you can always go upstairs for a game of pool.its a must..

Can’t go wrong with lavs, any night of the week or time of the day.
Good food too.
I do miss the old intimate smokey back bar, but overall the bar has definitely improved over the last few years.
Crazy how busy it has become. It prepared for the smoking ban months before it was introduced and it definitely paid off.

What a place for a game of pool and not badly priced also.
I went in last night and bought 3 beers and it only came to about £5.50.
I love the smoking area outside on the top floor. It is like walking out onto the a big brother set.

Was in Laverys for the first time yesterday since spending a good part of my student life there a few years back, upstairs is fantastic now, seems top notch. Slightly dear at £3.20 for a pint of carlsberg but worth it.
Need somewhere like this in Newry!

Class act, would happily go here every weekend, upstairs is great fun, good age crowd, no teeny boppers.
Easy to get served generally, staff are basically the same as most other pubs / clubs, friendly enough but there is never really a need to chat to them so not really to important.
Would highly recommend.

Excellent atmosphere and with the top floor redone it’s even better.
Music always good and varied to suit all tastes.

Since the top floor has been re-done with the new smoking area etc I’ve been there almost every Saturday night! Seems to be racking up a bigger crowd every week!

Good for a game of pool upstairs or a few drinks downstairs, or seeing a friends band, where the night tends to start.

Christmas dinner was excellent. Good price too, both food and wine. Place is huge, especially the new pool room. Worth a visit, either for a casual pint, a meal or a night out.

New ball room in Lavs is amazing, along with the smoking area (only use it for chatting not smoking lol) but overall a fantastic inexpensive place for a good night out, or for some pub grub during the day.

Love the food in Laverys and it doesn’t cost you an arm & a leg. Always get a good pint in it and staff are quick to serve. Slowly becoming a regular.

Had an amazing night in Laverys on Saturday night. The place is huge. Downstairs has a couple of bars, middle floor bar and dance floor, top floor bar and loads of pool tables. Lots of stuff to do, loads of people, plenty of craic.

Great food, atmosphere and beer. 3 floors catering for all tastes, live music, pool room, good smoking area (with another one planned for the roof).
Doesn’t matter if you’re a local, student or tourist you are guaranteed to have a great night out in Lav’s.
