This is usually my cinema of choice. Lots of cinemas and decent screens. However my problem is with the on-line booking. The system allocates your seats without giving you the choice which is just lazy in this day and age. If your looking to see a blockbuster and want to prebook I would suggest going to another cinema to ensure you get the best value for money.
We were allocated the back row when we book. Fortunately we were able to get them changed but had to make several phonecalls to get through to a person rather than an automated line. We eventually got to speak to someone on this number 028 9266 3664 . (Just continue to hold once they ask you to start pressing the kep pad.)
OK cinema but needs to improve this aspect.

I keep trying the Lisburn Omniplex, I keep being disappointed :-/
The ads at the start of the movies congratulate the watcher for paying for the cinema and seeing “the real thing”. Sadly the real thing is often a complete let down. On 2 out of my last 3 visits the projection has been out of focus, or off the screen and I’ve had to leave to ask for it to be sorted.
I love the cinema - but I want it to be a better experience than my home version - currently my home cinema blows it away unfortunately.

I was visited the cinema on the 12-11-10 hoping for a relaxing evening but, i was met with various staff members with a bad attitude. One of the staff members seem to think they were senior mangement and they were sweeping the floors.I must also comment other members of staff were smirking and pointing at me and my peers. It was dissapointing and i will say i will take my custom elsewhere in the future for a more friendly and comfortable visit as i felt uncomfortable with the members of the staff.Such a let down.SHAME

A decent cinema, though not quite on par with those in Belfast. While it was easy to get to and plenty of free parking available it just didn’t have the same kind of atmosphere.
Not the biggest screens around. Some of the sound was a bit glitchy in places.
But really easy to make a night of it and get a meal before or after in near by spingsteens or other places.

I personally dont see anything wrong with the parking when it is busy at the busiest ive been to, it only took me five minutes to get out and that was when a movie was out for the first day (tip for good parking spot, theres a massive free parking past harry ramsdens where no1 goes to.) You can get haagen das ice cream in a tub, (around three pounds a tub) popcorn sweet or salted (and lovely and hot, too) pik n mix of course , bags of sweet e.g. Maltesers, revels,m&ms; etc.
Sizes or popcorn are small (like, really small o_O ) medium and large they also do nachos with cheese sauce, salsa and hallipinos (you can get all the side if you want) drinks are there too with small cup and medium cup drinks includ all you r fav fizzy drinks like coke diet coke fanta sprite coke zero.
There are also loads of resteruants around for whatever you fancy… Theres kuntucky fried chicken(KFC) wolfes, subway, EDs american diner, spingsteens,
pizza hut(yum),ginza asian resuraunt and takeaway, and harry ramsdens famous fish and chips! Theres alo xtra vision,
and a gameing amuse ments and dont forget….. Lisburn lesureplex ! With awesome pool, gym, funpool, and loads of dance classes!

This is my local Cinema. Have never had any problems with the actual cinema. Does get very busy at weekends, so it’s best to pre book tickets. Parking is a problem, as it’s hard getting in and out when it’s busy.
Great having a choice for somewhere to eat before cinema. Springsteins do any earlybird menu if your going to an early screening.

I agree with the parking issue, park where your car can be seen in good view as there has been a lot of cars stole from outside the place. Cinema is great, i have really enjoyed every time i have been there. The pool is also a good and fun wee day trip out

They have to sort the sound out - too many times have I been here and the sound is muffled or too loud. I wouldn’t care if they fixed it quickly but as the staff don’t sit on on the first 10 mins to make sure everything is ok, one of the audience have to go out and complain before something is done. Please fix it!

Been to the Omniplex a load of times, mainly because it’s handy. It’s an OK cinema, screens are mostly good and it’s generally kept clean and tidy. I’ve had problems a couple of times with dodgy sound and picture ruining the movies - and having to leave the screen to get the problem corrected. Staff could do with being more on the ball!

Agreed with suzy that the ice cream here is worth the trip, it’s definitely the nicest around. Although the drinks machines are broke at ice cream counter (and have been for ages) so means having to wait in two queues if you want ice cream and coke.
Cinema is clean and comfortable although the seats wouldn’t be as good as the likes of Movie House or Storm. Price per adult is £6 (on weekends).
Nice area though and you can make a night out of it by going to Eds, Springsteens or Pizza Hut for something to eat as well. Or even go shopping too as Bow Street Mall is close by and parking is free.

I really like this cinema its cosy and nice! I love the ice cream thats why I choose to go there over my home town cinema.. Its worth it, try the chocolate midnight cookies mmm hehe! Although i cannot give it 5 as the toilets can be a tad manky mingy at times!!
Oh also whats the deal with no student rates at the week end? Isn’t that when all the students go? Although I aint a student any more, i know how annoying it is so…. Sort it out Mr Omniplex

Prefer this cinema over the odyessey as theres no parking fees and the popcorn is nicer. Although do park at the front in plenty of light, Ive seen a few cars broken into round the back.
