Great arena, but the queuing system wasn’t great at the gig last night.
Also people were smoking all over the place, and security weren’t doing anything about it.

The odyssey is a great arena and ive been to many concerts and shows there. I have never been to see an ice hockey match there so I decided to bring the missus and young’un to see the Belfast Giants vs Coventry Blaze on Friday night. There are obviously a lot of devoted regulars decked out in their ice hockey jersey’s which suprised me, I didnt think people took it so seriously. It was very family orientated and they had free giveaways including a subway rocket launcher which fired free subway subs into the crowd etc. It was nice to see a sporting event which didnt have flags marking ones territory out. Overall it was a pretty good night out and I think I would return but it just didnt seem to have the pazazz that you see in American/Canadian matches saying that there was only the 3 of us, I reckon you could get into the spirit of things with a bigger crowd with you. One thing that did annoy the heck out of me was the kids behind us kicking our seats and generally getting on like brats while their parents sat by failing to control them.

A great place to have in Belfast. Cinema, ice hockey, concerts, clubs, bowling, bars, comedy club and restaurants.
Certainly worth a visit for a night out.

I have been to two live concerts in the Odyssey Arena for both Coldplay and Snow Patrol and if you are looking to go see your favourite band in a good arena this is it.
Staff helpful when finding seats and other problems you may have (findind W/C etc)
Great viewpoints from all around the arena and not bad accessibility for wheelchairs.
Could possibly do better with the standing area during concerts however (like a raised platform).
