A really nice little hidden gem of a place which a few girlfriends & I popped into on a Saturday night recently. BYOB is always nice since we all like to drink different things & the menu although pretty simple was well priced. The steaks are fabulous & the seafood is too! Top notch little place that could do with more advertising as the staff are super good…& patient too!

You will struggle to top Rhubarb for an evening meal in Belfast. Simply put, the food is stunning, the atmosphere excellent and the service top notch.
I had the scallops with chorizo for my main. Incredible food and reasonable prices. No pretentious nonsense like other places I have eaten in.
*cough* Teatro *cough*
Also, it’s bring your own and the corkage is very reasonable. Winner! Could happily have sat on all night. 5 stars.

Went to Rhubarb on Saturday night for a pre-concert meal. Service was excellent. Bring your own was a bonus. Choice of starters, main meals and desserts very good and the food was superb. Group of 4 and not one complaint from any of us. Will be making this a favourite for all of us in Belfast. Have to try lunch time menu soon.
Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Great value.
Unfortunately waiter didn’t rate Enrique - no taste.

Decided to return to rhubarb to sample the lunch menu. The food as before did not let me down. Ordered from the specials menu a very reasonably priced pork belly dish which did not scrimp on portion size. Those in my company were not disappointed with their choices either. Couldn’t recommend the food highly enough. Loses one star on this visit due to poor service from the one waitress on duty, however may have been her first day. Won’t put me off from going back again.

Staff were excellent, the waitress recommended the scallops and they couldn’t have been better. All courses were delicious and well presented, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

I have been ranting and raving about how good this little place is since the first night i tried it!!
Very small little cafe, open at the weekends for evening meals and is BYO. Corkage charge i think was £2.50 per bottle from memory… They will put your drink in the fridge for you when you arrive if you wish! :)
I usually have the slow cooked daube of beef on roasted garlic mash… WOW! For someone who rarely eats beef and always goes for the safe option of chicken, I was very impressed!! It melts in your mouth! The portions are very generous, I struggle to finish, but with tasty food, its hard to leave any!!!
Service has always been of the best standard…very personal and waitresses have always been eager to please, nothing is a challenge!
If going for an evening meal, I would recommend booking in advance, as it is a small place, it gets booked up quickly!
Oh and the atmosphere is usually nice, with soft lighting, very relaxing and enjoyable!!
I’m working on my next excuse to go!! :)

Very nice restaurant, to be honest I’d never heard about it until the other day when I noticed it on here.
There were 4 of us out and we all thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, I had the pasta with chorizo which was excellent as was the sea bass.
Service was excellent and the food wasn’t rushed out so you were able to chat and relax.
Will definitely be back.

Really nice little cafe/restaurant hidden down Little Victoria Street.
Steak burger, which came with salad, bacon and cheese and potato wedges on the side, came to £6.50. Really good price.
Their menu also includes an all day breakfast section so you can still get your fried eggs for lunch.
Service is good too - served at your table rather than going up to order.
Also open in the evening with reasonably priced dinner menu and bring your own beer/wine.

Went there today for my lunch, very tasty indeed.. Had the chicken and coriander curry with rice and nan bread. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Bill with a bottle of water came to a reasonable £8. I’ll be back.

We went to this place on the recommendation of a friend tonight , the food was 1st class, much better than the friend recommended actually but the atmosphere, music and intimate settings make this byo restaurant one to watch….
