Went with 2 others for coffee and scones, we had to wait 10 minutes for the coffee then a further 10 minutes for our scones. Staff member was friendly but the overall experience was spoilt by the fact they were moving furniture around. Food good, service and atmosphere poor.

Regardless of how good or bad the coffee was, Roast has been a great place to meet up with mates or catch a quick lunch in over the year.

It used to be Gloria Jeans, then it was Blackmountain coffee and after that Roast. It closed at Christmas, you can still see the decorations inside it.

Very sad.

If there was an option for no stars I would pick it, it might be a great place for food and socialising, but as far as speciality coffee goes it rates on exilecoffee.com as one of the lowest in Northern Ireland. Poor training, lack of interest and bad service, you will actually taste how little care went into your coffee. Maybe you should get a tea?

I love this place for lunch and coffee, they do great sandwiches (especially chicken tikka).

If you’re an ice cream fan go here. You get a massive serving for little cost.

They also do student discount :)
