We had heard mixed reviews regarding this newly opened seafood restaurant and so went with an open mind.
For a mid month Tuesday night it was surprisingly busy but we were seated immediately and without a prior reservation.
Currently it is BYO (I think they’re waiting on their alcohol licence) and at present they only have cash payment facilities.
Interior is airy and light, shabby chic but not in that overdone Made In Belfast type way. The menu was (as expected) seafood heavy but there was a steak alternative.
Service was attentive without being stifling and the wait between courses was just right. Our food was hot, tasty and the portions were perfect. I didn’t order a dessert but the coffee was delicious.
Our bill was calculated incorrectly (they actually charged us too little) but when we pointed this out the manager knocked Matt’s dessert off the bill for being honest. Nice touch and appreciated.
I look forward to our next visit and have a feeling it won’t be too long from now as overall we were very impressed!

Party of five including our two young children. AGAIN we had a great experience. We occupied the table for almost three hours (leisurely birthday meal) and if they were bothered by this they certainly didn’t make it known. The food was top notch, and once again the kids cleared their plates. If I had to be really picky and find fault I’d say that the lack of continuity with table servers is slightly annoying. We had at least three throughout our meal but it was extremely busy and I guess it was all hands on deck.
Overall we love this restaurant, I’ve yet to find somewhere MORE child friendly in Belfast

I’ve eaten in a number of Wagamama branches and never been wowed. Belfast branch was at least consistent in that it didn’t wow me either. Sat together like school dinners. Waitress constantly reaching over my face to scrawl on my placemat or place drinks. The tofu was disgusting. Barely cooked and lukewarm. Just not good enough considering the prices. Unlikely to be back

Husband took me for lunch after a less than impressive lunch the previous week at Wagamamas. This is everything Wagas is not. Lovely surroundings, brilliant service, excellent variety and reasonable prices. I can’t wait to go back

Went for brunch with my husband and eldest son last Sunday. It was relatively busy but they seated us quickly at a window booth. Really nice feel to the place, bit like a less fussy Made in Belfast. I had a veggie fry. Nice, not too greasy. 3 eggs seemed slightly excessive, would have preferred more mushrooms/ beans but I guess they were trying to give me value for money.
Staff were efficient but not overly friendly. Everyone seemed a bit distracted which was a pity. I love a waiter/ waitress that takes time to interact with the kids, even briefly.
We’d go again but it wouldn’t be our first choice as overall it is more expensive that its competitors

I love this wee cafe. Super friendly and helpful staff and cater well to vegetarians for breakfast and lunch. Nothing is too much trouble. Prices are refreshingly fair as well.

What a delight. Popped in for a bite of brunch and we were immediately made to feel welcome by the lovely staff.
You’re served at your table which I prefer to standing in line with a tray. Tea and sparkling water were both superior brands (altho the price reflects this :)
I had a Goats cheese with red onion, pesto and cherry tomatoes. It was so fresh, hot and simply delicious. My husband had the Chicken with “green thunder” cheese and cajun sauce. A taste explosion, his words.
The seating was plush and the tables were well spaced allowing privacy for each diner. We’ll be back to try out the evening meals for sure!

Had the Veggie option of Goats Cheese burger. Overall it was nice, just a pity about the deep fried crust encasing it all. Service was great but quite pricey for lunch. 2 lunches 2 mineral water = £21.00 Eeek!

Ok, I can’t comment on the food, but I can definitely comment on the cocktails. The choice is huge and the prices are suprisingly good. Paired with comfy leather seats and excellent live music and I’m was a happily sozzled camper :)

Been here a few times and while I like the snackage (AMAZING fifteens) and drinks I’m not overly impressed with the hefty prices and the layout.
Your chances of getting a comfy sofa are pretty poor, each time I’ve had to make do with the plastic seats near the window. Certainly not comfortable enough to make me want to stay for another cuppa.

I’ve only had breakfast in here but if that’s anything to go by I can’t wait to get an evening meal in it.
I opted for the American Pancake Stack with bacon and egg. Really well cooked, not swimming in grease and the price was fair too. Love it!

We love Little Wing, the service is always friendly and fast. Just what you want when you have 2 hungry kids with you.
I’d class it in with Pizza Express, with the aforementioned just having the edge in regards to dessert choices and overall atmosphere.

We’ve been here twice now, most recently last Saturday night. It was busy but with no reservation we were seated quickly and service was fab.
The shredded honey chilli chicken is a sweet delight. Huge portion but great quality. We’ll be back.

Christ on a bike. What does it take to get a hot drink from this branch?! Always tepid, and never any staff clearing/ cleaning tables. Cheaper & more enjoyable to stay at home and make myself a cuppa.
Up and Running, Belfast

Was directed to her by the good people of Twitter after I began experiencing knee pain while running. Was advised I needed my gait analysed which I had done and was a real eye opener. I over-pronate on my left foot. Gait Analysis on its own is £20, or if you subsequently purchase shoes from them free (which I did). Member of staff who dealt with me was knowledgable, friendly and not too hard on the eyes either. 1 stop shop for running needs imo
