Very very close to a 4.

Had some egg noodles with pork and curry coconut sauce and I cleaned out my nice little box.

Sonia had what she described as ‘a box of mush’.  Rice noodles, veggie mix, chicken, mushrooms and cashews.  Sonz not impressed and is now having a cup of tea and toast as she only ate a few bites of it.

The dude behind the counter was cool. Pretty nice wee options available.

I do like it and it was a nice wee healthyish alternative for a snack on the run.  Only waited 5 mins for food from ordering.

Grand.

Would have given Rollo Pollo a 5.  Thought the prices were a bit steep but you get a lot for your money and it tastes damn good.  I had a delicious Chicken Curry and Sonia had the Black bean sauce.  Both were   so full of flavour.  I stole several bits of chicken from Sonia’s plate after clearing my own.

The service was sweet too.  Very friendly girl on the counter who was obviously very proud of the quality of their food.  She gave Sonia a little sample of the sauce to taste to help decide what to order.  They also do take-out.  We were in a rush for something to eat and wanted something a little more healthy than the usual take-out and ended up deciding to stay in this place.

We’ll definitely be back again and possibly be ordering quite soon.  They had their Bolognese in the counter and it looked really good.  I’m pretty fussy about my bolognese!

Avoid the little seat right at the back because you can feel the door opening and closing in the wall against your back. The waitress did warn me but I liked how snug it looked.

Good experience.

I absolutely love this place. I can’t wait to get a group together soon to go and spend the afternoon or evening there. I’m now thinking it would be great place for business networking event.  Play a little golf and some big screen wee, have a few beers and chat casually about what business we’re all up to.  Great way to let off steam, break the ice and network at same time.

I had my stag do here and it was just the best night. The majority of lads had barely even held a club in their hands but were mega competitive.  Just loved it.

I’ll be back!

Ok time to up my rating to 5. Spent last weekend there with my lovely wife Sonia.  We had the most relaxing weekend ever.  I think we sat in or by the pool for 5 hours flat. We lay on the sunbeds looking out at the Mournes and the sea while reading our books. We stayed for 2 nights this time and I highly recommend you do the same.

We went for walks on the beach right on the doorstep of the hotel.  We ate far too much.  The receptionist sent us up a DVD player so we could watch some Westwing - we didn’t actually get round to that!

Perfect weekend in the perfect place. If you are serious need of unwinding do yourself a favour!

Took Mrs Langasco to check out French Village as I raved about it to her last week.  I was gutted that the service was pretty disappointing on this occasion.  I think they may have been short staffed.  I still love the place and think service is just a bit hit and miss.

We went to the counter to check out what buns they had available.  I asked the girl if we could order there or would we just sit down.  She just mumbled “just sit down” without looking at us.  So off we went.  We sat for 10 minutes without receiving a menu and had to flag someone down which I hate doing.

Took another 15 minutes to get 2 buns from the counter and 2 pots of tea.

It’s annoying because they have everything else right and I really enjoyed my last experience there.  If they invested a little more in making sure service never slips - or least rarely slips they would be perfect!

I will be going back though as I’m hoping it was just an off day.  I still enjoyed being there.

Completely agree with nickandbecca. Ignore 1 star reviews. Obviously people are entitled to their opinions but I cannot for the life of me see how they managed to see it that way.

We went last night for the first time and were well impressed. We didn’t really know the people we were eating with and the relaxed atmosphere of Made in Belfast broke the ice for everyone.

It took us a while before we finally decided what to eat as we were busy chatting about the place itself.  Waitress had to come back to us twice to see if we were ready to order.

We didn’t wait long for the food either and everyone made the right noises! I had a venison burger and it was probably the nicest burger I’ve ever had.  The chips, which came in a tin cup, were crispy and dry.

I know there has been a lot of hype about this place but it deserves it.  I’m sure it’s tough for a restaurant to get off the ground and when it does, if the food is great, the atmosphere is sweet, the prices are spot on and staff are lovely then it deserves as much hype as it can get.  Love it!!!

Probably my new favourite cafe in Belfast. Lots of nooks and crannies to settle into.

I came here when it was still called Cafe Rhythms which promised a lot and delivered very little. It should have been what the French Village now is, which is somewhere to relax and escape.

The atmosphere is excellent as goodonpaper says.  The staff really don’t want you to wait long and are constantly keeping an eye to make sure the place is being looked after.

I didn’t know they had wifi so I’ll be back with my laptop next time I need to get out of the office to do some work.  It has the kind of atmosphere you’d imagine the place in Friends would have.  I look forward to having meetings there and meeting up with friends.  Nice.

They serve a huge cup (bowl really) of Santander Hot Chocolate complete with cream and marshmallows and have loads of goodies like Fifteens and Chocolate Eclairs. See you again very soon French Village!

This is one of our favourite bars to for some food and a chilled out Sunday afternoon.  The food is lovely and the service is always great.

We took a taxi into town yesterday to do a bit of shopping and then went to Cloth Ear from some food.

We’d bought a couple of books and had a bit of read in one of the little nooks in the bar while I enjoyed a fantastic pint of Guinness.  Totally relaxing couple of hours in there followed by Avatar at the cinema.

I highly recommend going to Cloth Ear for a chilled out afternoon or a great night out.
