This unexpectedly high-quality cafe is located on the first floor of CFC Interiors. All food is deliciously homemade, and all the more welcome after tramping around the well-stocked furniture shop. Don’t forget to try the caramel squares. :)

The owner is also a cake designer - prices are astonishingly reasonable. You simply have to order a cake!

These guys are fantastically efficient. Why? Problem diagnosed and resolved on the same day, within 30 minutes. Professional, fast, reliable service.

OK for a quick bite before a movie. Noisy. Polite staff.

The Mount Conference Centre is a slick environment in which to do business. Our requests for information on conference facilities have always been met with terrific professionalism.

The logistics at any meetings we have attended have always been faultless. The Mount provides unbtrusive, high quality service, in a sparkling venue.

Doorsteps trumps other sandwich bars simply due to the massive choice of fillings. I estimate about 40 different sandwiches, though they are always willing to make up your own concoction.

I also asked for directions, and the waitress went off to ask two other members of staff for me, coming back with the instructions and an apology for the tiny wait.

Polite, friendly staff, and delicious, rapidly delivered food.

There is plenty of seating, if you choose to sit in.

Courtyard Coffee House is tuck away in The Courtyard, a lovely little collection of creative businesses selling art, jewellry and food in the Scotch Quarter of the town.

6. The jewellery shop right next to it sells a phenomenal selection of vintage and modern rings, cuffs, and necklaces! :)

You need to visit Molly’s Yard:

1. Where else has such an entrance?

2. Period features. Cute bathroom.

3. Attentive, welcoming service.

4. Food that bursts with flavour.

5. A secluded atmosphere. Recommended for couples.

Well priced, quick, good take-away. Esp. The curry chip.

Food is lovely, though a little overpriced, based on portion sizes.

Staff are friendly, and attentive.

Decor, relaxed.

The food is always excellent - full of taste and well presented -  regardless of what I order.

Mochas, scones and traybakes are full of homemade, delicious indulgence!

ALL staff are super-friendly, and welcoming.

We landed in almost at last orders, and found our intentions to have coffee soon changed to ordering a starter, as the menu was so inviting. The waitress was accommodating and friendly. Food was totally gorgeous.

The interior is really interesting, comfortable and the booths provide that little bit of privacy.

The Bayview is perfectly situated overlooking the windy bay. It’s a great place for a winter break, with lovely walks along the beach out front, or round by the carpark (take a left from the hotel and keep walking).

Food is predictably good, inexpensive, and service is friendly.

Our room was spotless, with lovely, new furniture and a huge bed. Very comfortable.

I’ve been to the Leighinmohr for several weddings and lots of business meetings. It’s spotless, luxuriously decorated and staff are friendly and accommodating.

Tullyglass is dependably good. I’ve been for lots of weddings and have found service to be welcoming and friendly.

I’ve had meetings, and eaten here many times. Service is attentive, and friendly. Food is always served quickly, and is hot and delicious. High quality venue.
