Similar to mungeo, a new vehicle in Nov 09 only to have to bring it back several times for warranty work. Customer care totally non existent. They promise to do things, then you find they they couldn’t care less. Spoke to their customer care several times, it’s like talking to a brick wall. Been told a service manager will call within 48 hours, that was 4 days ago - still no call from them. Please consider going to another dealer, or like me, you will purchase to your cost.

I recently got in contact with Dawn at Sensei to get material for my business manual edited and proof read.  From the beginning I was dealt with in a very friendly yet professional manner.  Dawn not only proof read my manual but she went the extra mile by formatting the document, offering fantastic style advice and creating a house style for my business.  I found the quality of Dawn’s work to be outstanding.  The comments she gave in regards to the editing and writing of the document were really pertinent and extremely helpful. As a result of Dawns excellent skills in writing and editing, my manual become more concise and professional.  An efficient, thorough, and highly recommended company whose service is second to none.”

I’ve been to French Village numerous times and on all occassions the service, food and atmosphere have all been top notch. My personal highlight are the sandwiches which are made in front of you, so you know everything is perfectly fresh. The coffees are great too, have sampled a wide range of them.
The Staff are superb and have delivered a high standard of service throughout - they create a nice, welcoming and warm atmosphere - always with a smile on their face.
I have heard some people of getting confused with the name of this fine establishment, but once inside one can understand easily that it is the surname French and not the nationality, which does not lead to any form of disappointment as I like to think this café is better than anything French!

One of my absolute favourite places in Belfast. Food is delicious - vegetarian quiche, potato cakes with sweet chilli and creme fraiche, hot chicken and cheese bagel with cashews and sweet chilli- even the garnishes are delicious (loads of black olives) - and I don’t ‘do’ salads much. Staff are lovely, music is always excellent - whether just the cds they’re playing or the acoustic nights; an ethical company with a big heart. (Did you know they do a big Christmas dinner for people in need?) Amazing place, am so delighted I only live ‘round the corner!

Went on a quiet time in the morning, but still took too long to get served. Staff were nice, but coffee was appalling. Looked like dishwater - friend (who was drinking it) thought it was filter coffee, pointed it out - nicely - and got told they didn’t do filter coffee; asked for another one and got an okay Americano - not sure why he didn’t get that first time! I had pancakes (which I’m pretty sure were from a packet) and scrambled eggs, was just okay. But biggest disappointment was the almost complete lack of anything French. Someone’s said on here it’s a surname thing - but they’ve called their fridge a ‘patisserie’ fridge; and yet it had one small plate of French eclairs/Danish pastries and the rest were muffins, tray bakes etc. As a lover of French grub I was a bit miffed by this false advertising!

Again, staff were nice, so no offense to them - but won’t be going back.

I work in the City Hospital and often come over to Botanic on my lunch break. French Village would always be my first choice for somewhere to grab a quick bite to eat and not sacrifice quality. It is always very busy at lunchtime but that is something to expect of a place that always makes you feel welcome and serves great food. The sandwiches are the best around and their homemade bread is superb!

We visited the restaurant on St Patrick’s Day 2010.  My wife and daughter were with me.  I had a Hawaiian Pizza, my wife had a burger and chips and the daughter had a BBQ Chicken Pizza.  For pudding we all chose the Cinnamon Waffle.
We had a 45 minute wait for the £7.25 two course lunch special.  The wait was acceptable as it was very busy being St Patrick’s Day.
Once in the restaurant food was served in 10 minutes.  The staff were great, helpful and efficient.
The restaurant was very clean, the ambience was great and the decor as expected for a NY Italian Diner.
The Pizza was superb, and the pudding tasted great.
I would go back and recommend Frankie and Benny’s without hesitation.

Worst service in botanic avenue. Have worked in botanic for 10 years and the service here is just not up to scratch. Have been in to the take away 5 or 6 times now and each time the service has been atrocious. 3/4 members of staff standing around gossiping and doing anything but serving the customers. The first time i went in with 2 colleagues and it took us half an hour to get 2 soups to take away (the other left and her lunch bought and eaten by the time we got back). I thought perhaps it was just teething problems so went back to give them another chance. They’ve had their last one, a worker tried to push infront of me in the queue to have her lunch!! My advice go to centra, you’ll be in and out in 5 minutes.

Had coffee and cake here yesterday.  Found it great price wise (latte and carrot cake for me, milkshake and brownie with ice cream for my son - £6.50ish).

It’s also a nice spot; it was quiet enough during out visit (on a Sunday) to leave our shopping bags at the table and go for a wander round Waterstones.

Will definitely be back.

Went for breakfast this morning after having a reasonable experience twice before. I ordere porridge with honey and banana. Inwas presented with a bowl of luke warm milk with raw oats in it( and honey and banana floating on top) I tried it and yes the oats were still crunchy. I sent it back. About 5 mins later the very same bowl was brought back but it had been heated in a microwave. Oats still raw but now the honey and banana was hot too. It was obvious to look at it it was not porridge on both occasions so I can’t understand why the chef and waiting staff would serve it. We also had a sausage roll (microwaved and soggy) and a full fry which my husband really enjoyed. I left hungry as I don’t eat bread.(had chosen there as I knew they did porridge) So much potential but they need step up their game!

Hakka Noodles

The staff are lovely. I could not fault them. My starter of dumplings and squid were lovely. My mains of wonton soup noodles were not to my taste, slightly bland but that is nothing against Hakka. Each evening this week i have excitedly read the menu outside the restaurant licking my lips at anticipation of visiting this evening. So i was rather surprised that the prices on the menu on the outside wall are not the same as the menu inside. In cases as much as three pounds dearer when we got inside. I went back to check this menu later to make sure it doesn’t say specials, takeaway or lunchtime but unless i am mistaken the impression is a wok dish should be only £5.50 not £8.50. This is unfar on people on a budget.
